Hello all you
good people out there!
How have you
been faring this last week? Have you been putting all the small pieces of your
lives back to normal after the holidays? Mine is about back to pre-holiday
status and I am so thankful for it!
Let’s
take a look at a third theory proposed by evolutionists as to how the moon got
to be in its current location. It
is called the accretion theory (also known as the condensation or nebular
contraction theory). This hypothesis proposes that small pieces of material
floating around in outer space resulted in the formation of both the earth and the
moon. It also states that the moon ‘just happens’ to orbit the earth.
There
are some inherent faults with this. For one there is an assumption that
everything would just fall together into two large round chunks, with the moon
orbiting the earth. However
when calculated, this can be ruled out due to the density of space cloud
materials. Present day observations of these outer space clouds show that they
are much less dense for such an occurrence to happen.
Secular
science proposes one more theory; the lunar-origin theory. This one states that
billions of years ago in the ‘beginning’, the early earth and another large celestial
object collided.
This collision resulted in a big cloud of debris that over time came together to
make the moon. Problems with this enormous impact include a total meltdown of
the earth’s crust, and it is questionable that another object could have the
exact sped and direction needed that would cause the formation of the moon.
So
why are the secular scientists trying to make these theories work? Because none
of the lunar-origin theories work! And why is that? Because they are not the
truth. So what is the truth?
The truth of the origin of the moon is; God
created it during the six day creation week. “And let them be
for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it
was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to
rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And
God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.” And
that comes from only One who was there in the beginning.
So why do
secular scientists refuse to acknowledge an intelligent designer? Because they
do not want to be accountable to an all knowing, all caring God.
And that my
dear friends, is the truth. God loves you. So much so, as a matter of fact,
that He sent His son to take our sins so He could die with them resulting in
you and I being reconciled with God. And that is the most amazing thing ever!
