ANGELS…THE EVIL KIND

Hey everyone! How’s life been? Here were I am at it has been very, very hot. I’m exhausted by the end of the day from just the heat zapping my energy. Oh and how much hotter it is in hell where satan and his minions will be forever. 

Both satan and his minions, the evil angels, are angels that have been kicked out of heaven. Satan, who used to be known as Lucifer, at one time was an archangel, the most beautiful of all. Second Peter 2:4 tells us, “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment…” Another name for these fallen angels is demons. Satan and the demons all had a choice to follow

God or to go on their own. It was pride that got the better of these beings, and God cast them out of heaven.

Even Jesus spoke of this event; Luke 10:17-18 speaks of the seventy-two Jesus had sent ahead of Him to witness about the Messiah; “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, ‘Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy name.’ And He said unto them, ‘I beheld Satan as lightning falling from heaven.’”

And it is here on earth that the evil angels do their dirty work.

Isaiah 14:12 says, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” And Revelation 12:9 states, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

world. Disease, destruction and death abound on this earth. All around the world people have depicted demons or the devil in artwork or sculptures and they have the same basic elements. Wings, pointy teeth, horns, and scary looking. Hmmm, could that mean that indeed the demonic realm is true?

I have talked to several people who have had encounters with demonic activity. The most common is the

appearance of a figure that just stands or floats near a person, or the feeling of a presence. However other signs can be more active. Noises, buckling floors or ceilings, and flying objects have all been reported time and time again by numerous people. The worse type of demonic activity is oppression and possession. 

The Bible records such an event in both Mark 5:9 and Luke 8:30; “Jesus asked him, saying, ‘What is your name?’ And he said, ‘Legion,’ because many demons had entered him.” But Jesus is

stronger that even legions of demons. Mark 5:8,15 records first Jesus commanding the evilspirits out of the man; “For He said to him, ‘Come out of the man, unclean spirit!’ Then; “They (the people) came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.”  Why were the people afraid? Because they understood a supernatural event had just occurred. That is God interfered with demons and had authority over them. You see without God the serpent and his minions have thousands of years of skills and experience in dealing with man. And they also

have limited supernatural powers. This makes them a formidable enemy. However with God, we are safe. If any of you are currently dealing with any form of demonic activity. Pray, call out to Jesus, and by all means give your life to Jesus who is our Savior. 

One day it will be different. Jude 1:6 tells us,  “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He (God) hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

We can rest assured that if we are Christians He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Thank you Jesus!
