Megalith in Spain |
AND EVEN MORE STUNNING MEGALITHS
Well my friends, I have just returned from clear across the country (about 2000) miles (a giant distance) of travel to attend my oldest son’s graduation for his Doctorate degree. I am so proud of him, he has worked very hard.
Speaking of large things, let’s continue our look into these amazing megaliths…
Russia:
According to the secular timescale, the Dolmens of the North
Caucasus Mountains in Russia were constructed between 3000 and 2000 BC. The patterns are very precise allowing the man chipped stones to fit in place precisely. It is unknown what their function was, or who built them, but more continue to be discovered. The construction of the structures are house-like and “…have a limited variety in their architecture. The floor plans are square, trapezoidal, rectangular and round. All of the dolmens are punctuated with a portal in the centre of the facade. While round portholes are the most common, square ones are also found. In front of the facade is a court that usually splays out.”1 Remnants of ancient pottery, human bones, jewelry and bronze tools have been found at this site. France:
In Brittany, France, more than 3,000 stones have stood in
careful rows since as early as 4500 BC (secular time scale) and are known as the Carnac stones The stones were hewn from local rock and thought to have been erected by pre-Celtic people. A modern myth states the stones were once Roman soldiers in pursuit of Pope Cornelius who then turned them to stone for all eternity. The region contains not just megaliths but dolmens as well, stone house-like structures.

Spain:
Taula in Spain |
On the island of Menorca in the Mediterranean Sea, megalithic monuments called taulas (Catalan for “tables") have resided for millennia. Archaeologists aren't sure what purpose the taulas served, though its possible they held religious or astronomical significance. Another theory suggests they were centers of healing. “Taulas can be up to 3.7 metres high and consist of a vertical pillar (a monolith or several smaller stones on top of each other) with a horizontal stone lying on it. A U-shaped wall often encloses the structure. They are thought to be built by the Talaiotic peoples some where between1000 BC and 300 BC. (secular time scale)”3
Why do I differentiate between secular and biblical timescales? Because secular timescales have misinterpreted ancient documents of time such as the Egyptian dynasties as recorded by Manthaoes. The Holy Scripture, as recorded in the Bible gives time scales according to genealogies and is extremely accurate. So of course the times listed above do not entirely fit with the documentations in scripture. Nothing has survived the global flood, except for bits and pieces of out-of-place artifacts (aka oops arts), and that which inhabited the ark Noah and his family built. So how early where these amazing structure built? Well, we know that people scattered after the language was split at the Tower of Babel which occurred after the Flood and after the third generation of mankind. People who had in the recent past been all together and knew how to build with stones now scattered, taking their knowledge with them…hence we have these stunning ancient megaliths scattered around the world. Fascinating!
Take care and God bless,
Willow Dressel
