Reconstructed Dino Genome?
Good evening my fellow friends!
How have you been this week? I have had a very busy week entering the final information (and checking it over and over for accuracy) for turning my taxes in, as here in America it is getting on toward the time to turn your taxes in to the government. I am so relieved that it is finally over.

Speaking of information, I just read an article on a study that presents the information that they have been able to piece
together a portion of a dinosaur’s genome (the complete set of genes or genetic material present in a cell or organism). This recent study from the “University of Kent would be a massive accomplishment—if their claim is true. However, the team of researchers made a critical assumption that led them to this conclusion.” Actually two assumptions; 1) that evolution is true and that there existed in deep times past a precursor to the dinosaurs that live some 20 million years before dinos even existed. 2) that dinosaurs evolved into birds who now walk in this time on earth. The researchers started with what they assumed the genome would be like for this proto-dino then “continued tracing until they reached birds, which they considered as
either living dinosaurs or the descendants of dinosaurs. The original study, published in the peer-reviewed science journal Nature Communications, made the claim…that a Velociraptor would have similar DNA to a modern chicken if the DNA were viewed under a microscope. That is an extremely bold claim to make!”2

Sometimes in science assumptions have to be made. But they should all be based on facts and open to interpretation from different points of view. Especially when the facts are so scarce that different conclusions can be made. “Noted evolutionist Dr. Richard Lewontin…is admitting here that many evolutionists will always look for a materialistic explanation, regardless of evidence. This explains why the
authors of the aforementioned study make such flawed assumptions. They had to make it or else risk acknowledging the possibility of a divine entity, which creationists know to be the God of the Bible.”3
Please pray for these biased souls that their minds would clear enough to see the truth.
God bless and take care,
Willow Dressel
